Metrological certification of measuring instruments is recognition of a measuring instrument (SI) legalized for use. For this purpose, according to GOST, an examination is carried out, during which the metrological properties of this measuring instrument are thoroughly investigated.
Metrological certification can be applied to:
- Measuring instruments that are produced or imported from abroad, either in single copies or in small batches.
